‘Their World, Our Choices’, an Exhibition by Barry Wrafter
Clare Arts Office will host ‘Their World, Our Choices’, an exhibition by the artist Barry Wrafter in the Gallery of the Edna O’Brien Library, Scarriff, from May 6 to June 7, 2025, inclusive.

Barry Wrafter is a distinguished sculptor and visual artist exploring the intersection of humanity and animality. Through stone, kinetic sculpture, and painting, he challenges the contradictions in how we assign value to life, using hyper realistic and surrealist imagery alongside dynamic forms.
Currently undertaking a master’s in Fine Art at Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD), Barry holds a BA in Fine Art, specialising in Ceramics and Animation, and a Postgraduate in Digital Sculpture. He is an experienced instructor in stone sculpture.
Barry’s work has been showcased at Gallery 52 and the historic Church Gallery at LSAD. He has completed numerous public commissions across Ireland.
This exhibition provokes reflection on our moral boundaries, using movement, materiality, and contrast to question where, and why, we draw the line in defining worth, when it comes to the way we treat and view animals.
